The goal of the Foundation, in accordance with the articles of association, is to support the development of the University of Gdańsk, in particular:

• creation of the campus of the University of Gdańsk – University City including the Central Marine Library,
• providing financial and material support to the University of Gdańsk for the realization of its tasks,
• propagating the achievements of the University of Gdańsk countrywide and abroad,
• scientific, didactic and cultural exchange for students and scientific employees of the University,
• founding scholarships for students and scientific employees of the University,
• providing financial or material support in terms of scientific, cultural and sports activities of students or employees from the University of Gdańsk.
